Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Questzal application and services (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use Questzal. By using our Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of Questzal, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Description of Service

Questzal is a marketplace platform that connects individuals who need help with tasks (“Quest Creators”) with individuals willing to complete those tasks (“Helpers”). Questzal facilitates connections between users but is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of the tasks or services provided.

5. Payments and Fees

All payments are processed through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By using Questzal, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

• Quest Creators pay the quest price plus applicable platform and processing fees
• Helpers receive 100% of the quest price upon successful completion
• Platform fee: RM1 + 1% of quest price
• Payment processing fee: 3% + RM1
• Funds are held in escrow until the Quest Creator confirms completion

6. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Our refund policy is as follows:

• Helper Cancellation: If a Helper cancels a quest, the Quest Creator receives a full refund of all amounts paid.
• Quest Creator Cancellation: If a Quest Creator cancels before a Helper is accepted, they receive a full refund. After acceptance, the quest price is refunded but platform fees may be retained.
• Disputes: Disputed transactions are reviewed on a case-by-case basis within 7 business days.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to circumvent any security measures
• Use the Service to facilitate transactions outside of Questzal

8. Limitation of Liability

Questzal provides a platform for connecting users and is not liable for any damages arising from transactions between users. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of tasks posted or services provided by Helpers. Users engage with each other at their own risk.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
